Well, there they go again but in a good way: the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge management has extended the “Dollar Discount Days” originally announced in conjunction with the temporary closing of the Gilmerton Bridge through the end of March. That amounts to a “twofer” for automobiles with E-ZPass on board — i. e., a round trip for the price of a one way. Every other class of user also enjoys the one dollar discount, just not the same percentage. (You do the math — the price list is posted at SNJB travel fees.)

  1. I sincerely hope that they were wise enough to stick with the current team at the top, who have proven credentials and actually care about the city they live in at a time when we are all at great risk. Auditor is up for grabs and I hope they choose wisely there, too.

    • Right you are, ma’am. This section has become an “orphan”. I have removed it from the top menu. I should probably do more of the same with the other topics. Thank you for calling it to my attention.
